Fundy Coastal East Region

Map

The Fundy Coastal East region is defined by the Bay of Fundy tides. In this region you can explore Hopewell Rocks. These large flowerpot rock structures have been eroded into strange shapes by the extreme tides in this area. The tides must always be respected and it is recommended that you don't paddle in this area unless you have experience or a guide. I have been visiting this area for the last 20 years and the tides still fascinate and scare me. Baymount Adventures is a good option for a kayak tour around the Hopewell Rocks. You can kayak around the rocks and then visit Hopewell Rocks Park to walk on the seafloor after the tides have receded. The tides are that high!

In the St. Martins area you can explore sea caves and the rugged Fundy Trail Parkway coastline. Red Rock Adventures offers several guided tours of the area.
